My partner and I became common law in 2024. Turbo Tax is requiring my to enter his net income from his 2024 tax return. I do not have that info. What do i do?

You must report the name, social insurance number, and net income (or the amount the net income would be if he/she filed a return) of your spouse or common-law partner on page 1 of your tax return. The spouse's net income affects some tax credits, including the spousal amount tax credit.

You can always include the estimated amount if you do not know the precise amount. Another option is to  prepare your partner's tax return and then include the edit of the correct amount on your own.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
