My spouse had $0 income so it transferred credit to my return but my spouse has creditors (including OSAP) after him, can they deduct money from my tax return because of this?

We are not filing together, I simply checked the box saying he did not have an income. we are common law with a son born in December 2016

The Canada Revenue Agency will not take from your refund to pay a debt owing for your spouse's OSAP.  OSAP also cannot take from your refund.  The fact that you are transferring certain credits to your spouse does not change this fact.

The Canada Revenue Agency or any other agency that you are owing money to will not deduct from your income tax refund to pay money owing for your spouse.  You will receive your full refund that you are entitled to.

Sorry to bug you with this again but I just want to be 100% sure of this.

I know they can't go  after my return for his debt but does the fact that we're transferring  tax credit from him to me allow them to do so? It's just the idea of the transfer of tax credits that's leaving me worried.

 Again sorry to bug you.
Thank you!
