My tips totalled $2000 and my occasional earnings was almost $2000. Do i still put them in the same line even if they are over the $3500 limit for occasional earnings?

Yes, tips, gratitudes, and occasional earnings, all are being reported on line 10400 of the T1-General. So you can add them all up in the same box in TurboTax.
