A friend filed for ei in december 2014 but only got the check in jan 2015..will she get a tax form for 2014, as it was that years benefit

No, the benefit was paid in 2015, so eventually it will appear on a 2015 T4E slip.
She can register for both My Account for CRA and My Account for Service Canada and obtain this slip on-line at the start of next year.
