As per our TurboTax article Tax Credit For Seniors In Canada: Making the Most of your Tax Return:
If your income exceeds a certain amount ($79,845 for 2021), you may need to repay some of your OAS pension back to the government. This is known as the OAS Pension Recovery Tax, or OAS Clawback. This threshold amount changes each year.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
The OAS clawback for 2023 is published as $86,912, why do you not implement that in Planner Mode? It really messes up planning tax withdrawals from OAS for the coming year due to the larger increase than in the past. Would it not be simple to just incorporate it into planner mode so that I don't have to compensate for the 2022 clawback reduction in income and increase in estimated tax withdrawals in estimating how much tax to ask CCRA to withhold on our OAS and CPP monthly payments for 2023. Planner mode is effectively useless for this task unless you implement this correctly.
