Pension Splitting Optimizer provides value higher than Maximum allowed. Which do I use?
After using the "Pension Splitter Optimizer" in Turbo Tax there will be a screen that indicates the various options for amounts that can be claimed as well as the amount provided by the software. You are able to edit the amount provided by typing in the box at the bottom of the split income list.
