Repetitive Net-File error : After entering CPP amount and number of months, I am unable to file tax due to existing error. I am unable to to get thru phone line.

I am using Turbo Tax for 10 + years and never experienced such issue. Turbo Tax phone number is not working either. What a shame!!!

As we do not know the exact error you are getting please see if this solution helps. 

 

Ensure that you've matched up the box with the number of months entered to the proper type of income.

Box 23 is how many months you received the amounts in Box 14 - retirement income. Box 21 is how many months your received the amounts in Box 16 - disability benefit. Please see the image below.

 

 

As per reaching the telephone support team, when you hear the message asking if you wish to receive an email say NO then say "speak to a representative" and hold the line.

# of month entered into appropriate box but continue to say that the number cannot exceed 12. TurboTax check also did not detect a number of other entries. No error codes given when trying to Netfile. Simply go to a page to choose "Print file for filing by mail or "File later.

@fy852 Did you get both retirement & disability benefits for the whole year? Are you in Quebec?

Only retirement benefit. No disability benefit. I'm not in Quebec.
