RESP TO RRSP should I be paying tax on that?

I transferred unused amount from Heritage Enducation Fund RESP to a RRSP fund & I received at T4A in mail with box 40 $ amount , when I enter that in program I am taxed on it, is there another more or place to not pay tax on it?

RESP TO RRSP should I be paying tax on that?

The Accumulated Income Payment balance within the RESP can be transferred to your RRSP. This is called an indirect transfer (even if the plan administrator handled the transaction). You should have a corresponding RRSP contribution receipt to claim on your tax return for 2017.
