Should Canada Workers Benefit questions reduce the expected tax return amount? I know I don't qualify so shouldn't see it included and then taken away.

For the last 3 years of using Turbotax Standard I have noticed that once I got to the CWB questions, my return drastically reduces in the counter (about $1000 this year)  I know I don't qualify and find it very disheartening to suddenly "lose" that amount. The questions say there is no harm to apply for CWB, yet as soon as I pass that screen (&can't skip it) I feel "harmed" by having a bit reduction. I've been hoping the software would adjust to better reflect who qualifies.  If it is a federal benefit, why does it need to be at the end of the process?

Are you a full-time student or is your income higher than eligible?

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
