Should the pension income summary display the amounts in both Box 18 on the T4A(OAS) and Box 20 on the T4A(P)?

Thanks for your question. Yes, these amounts should appear on your pension income summary. There could be two issues. The first issue is maybe your input was wrong. You can check your input using the following instructions. You can use the left-hand navigator to return to the page where you entered your pension income. There, you can amend or delete any amounts previously entered.

If you entered your pension income on a T4A, this page will be found at Income > T Slips > T4A Pension, Retirement, Annuity.

If you entered your pension income on a T4A(P), this page will be found at Income > T Slips > T4A(P) Canada Pension Plan Benefits.

The other issue could be you might have split your pension with your spouse. When you split your pension with your spouse, you will still see the full amount of the pension you received on your tax return as Pension Income on Line 115. Then further down you will notice the amount you are splitting with your spouse is deducted in the next section to arrive at Net Income (Line 210 - Deduction for Split Pension Amount). Your spouse will have one entry on Line 116.
