The tax receipt for children's private schools has a line for "Amount for Tuition" and "Amount for child care." Can we claim "Amount for Tuition" or only the latter?
Both me and my wife are full time and my children are in Grade 1 and Grade 3.

You can claim the "Amount for child care." as a child care expense. Tuition can't be claimed unless it’s from a post-secondary education institution or an institution certified by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
