How do we share our CPP retirement pension?

On reviewing our forms Turbo Tax suggested sharing our CPP retirement pension and using the formula to determine if this would benefit us. I can find no such formula.

To access the CPP sharing option in TurboTax

1. Open your return in TurboTax.
2. Click the Tools option in the upper left of your screen (between View and Preferences).
3. Select Show Tax Centre.
4. The CPP/QPP Sharing Optimizer is located in the TaxSaver Tools column.
5. Once you have finished using the Optimizer, you may exit the Tax Centre by selecting Hide Tax Centre from the Tools option.
