Under Student summary, and "Federal" my "Amount Claimed in 2017" is $9470. Where is this number generated from in the system?
This amount is generated from any Tuition Tax Slips (T2202a or receipts) you have entered for this year, or any Tuition & Education Amounts you may have carried forward to your current year tax return.
