Unused tuition

I'm just wondering why I'm not getting money back with all of my tuition amounts and not working

Tuition credits are non refundable tax credits and are used to reduce any net federal or net provincial tax you may have owing.  If you did not have any income to report or tax paid to report, there wouldn't be any net federal or net provincial tax owing and there wouldn't be anything to generate a refund.
