Were there problems with the calculation of 'Total Income Tax Deducted' in the 2016 version of Turbotax?
I have verified that I correctly entered the amounts of Income Tax Deducted in filing my 2016 taxes with Turbotax. What I did not notice was that Turbotax reported these to CRA as about $4,000 than the actual total. CRA reassessed my return, identified the error, and has correctly required the payment of more taxes.
My question is why did Turbotax over-report deducted taxes? Have others experienced the same problem?
