What do I do if I claimed the full amount of my RRSP contribution in 2016 but $504 was technically paid in 2018 due to monthly loan payments?

I took out an RRSP loan for my 2016 contribution, claimed the full amount, as stated on tax receipt but last 2 payments are also appearing on my 2017 contributions.

When you take out an RRSP loan, the proceeds of loan are used to purchase the RRSP and the contribution slip issued at that time should reflect the full amount of the loan.

If you have received another RRSP Contribution slip from your financial institution for the 1st 60 Days of 2018 and you think it is in error, you will need to contact them.
