What if my non-resident spouse is not canadian and does not have a social insurance number?

I've lived in America for 13 years.  My spouse is American and does not have a SIN number - should I file as Single or Married?

You need to select married as your marital status even if your spouse is a non-resident. You can use 000000000 as their SIN number.
