How do I file a tax return when the person is senior but has not applied for old age pension?

I completed the tax forms but because the answer is no, for collecting old age pension, turbo tax won't let me file?.

did you enter 1 cent in box 18?

When using TurboTax Free, answer Yes to receiving Old Age Security and enter a value of 1 cent to work around this issue.  It will have no tax consequence to you and you will be able to proceed and NETFILE your income tax return.
