For employees to claim expenses, employer needs to issue a T2200. Did you get a T2200? Enter the expenses in TurboTax employment expenses section. In the questions at the beginning of the return it will ask you if you had expenses for work and you should answer yes.
If your employer didn't issue a T2200 I would check with them to verify if they will be issuing one.
