Where do I report income received from my health insurance plan against my optical claim? I am retired so this is nothing to do with an employer and their contributions.

Where do I report income received from my health insurance plan against my optical claim? I am retired so this is nothing to do with an employer and their contributions.

If you made a medical claim for eye care from your provider, it would not be considered income.  If any of the expense was not covered by the insurance plan, it is deductible.  If this is a private insurance plan like Blue Cross, those fees are deductible as well.
