Why did the software fail to enter the "age amount" (line 301) in federal non-refundable tax credits, given my age on file is May 27, 1984?
The software got it right for my wife, who has been eligible for it for several years. This is my first year of eligibility as I was born in 1948.

You were eligible since 2013, however the credit is dependant on Net Income and goes away once your Net reaches the upper 70s.
