I worked for 6 months, retired at the end of June and moved from Alberta to BC July 1. Does my employment income get calculated under BC residency?

Income between provinces when last 6 months retired.

Your employment income is what is on your T4s and anything else, regardless of where you were when you earned it.

The tax you have to pay is the same federally, wherever you are in Canada.
The provincial tax varies by province. Where you live on Dec 31 determines which rates are applied.
