Where do I find provincial credits in TurboTax?

To find credits offered by your province in the online version of TurboTax, follow the steps below.

  1. On the navigation menu on the left-hand side in TurboTax 2018 (in TurboTax 2017, the menu is across the top), select Provincial.
  2. Select Provincial Tax Credit Profile.
  3. You will arrive at the Your Provincial Profile for 20xx, step

 

  1. On the navigation menu on the left-hand side select Provincial. (In TurboTax 2017, the menu is across the top.)
  2. Select either Get organised or the client’s province.
  3. Select Continue twice.
  4. You will arrive at the Your Provincial Profile for 20xx, step

  1. Click the Forms icon in the lower left of the main panel.
  2. Select Form Lookup from the bottom of the popup window.
  3. Ensure Match From Start is checked.
  4. Ensure Show Open Forms Only is not checked.
  5. In Keyword to search for, enter your province code (such as AB for Alberta).
  6. Select the desired provincial tax credit form from the Forms list. (For more information on form selection, click the Help button).
  7. You will arrive at your selected form
