Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

We're working hard to finalize all tax forms to meet Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec (RQ) requirements. Some of these forms aren’t ready yet in TurboTax.

If your return has one of the below forms, you can't file your return in TurboTax yet. If you’re a TurboTax Online customer, we’ll email you when your forms are ready to be filed in early April 2026.

What tax forms are locked?

Revenu Québec forms:

  • TP726.7 Capital Gains Deduction on Qualified Property

What to do next

You can still fill out your tax return today, and even enter income and expenses into the above tax forms. Once the forms are live, you can sign in, review your return, and file it.
