There could be a number of reasons why you may receive an error code when trying to file your return through the CRA’s NETFILE service. We’ve compiled a list of common error codes below, as well as links to specific information to try and fix the problem.

In addition, there are some common error messages that may appear in TurboTax when trying to use NETFILE:
- Invalid characters when trying to use NETFILE
- You performed one or more overrides that have made your return ineligible for NETFILE
