Please confirm the manual update is the right / latest one. And as the software could not connect to update itself, how do we know it will connect to netfile the new return??
Yes, that is the latest version of TurboTax as of today. It should be able to connect to NETFILE. NEFILE is a system run by the CRA and our update servers are run by US and they are separate. So it is possible for one to work and the other to not work. If they both don’t work, either the program hasn’t installed correctly, or you may have security/firewall software that is blocking TurboTax from accessing the internet.
