A return in progress has nil income but I am asked to use up the available returns for 2024. In prior years income less than $25,000 was not counted towards the limit.

If you are using TurboTax Online, your purchase is for 8 returns only. If the return is simple and there is no income, you can then use TurboTax Free to file the return.
