A software update was recently offered to TurboTax CD/download customers on February 1, 2021 which has caused some versions of software to crash. If you've updated your TurboTax CD/download software on that date, a blue screen will pop up when attempting

It has been 3 days.

One would think Intuit would have a solution already instead of having to delete 

the software and start again. What happens to your work you have already saved.

Sorry to see you are having this issue. In order to help you with this situation, I believe your best option is to contact our telephone support team for further assistance, as they have the option to view your screen to help resolve the issue. To contact us please follow this link: Contact Us form. Once you go through the steps and complete the form, the phone number to speak to a TurboTax agent will appear on the page. If the agent cannot resolve your issue please make sure you tell them you want to escalate the issue to a higher level.

Yes I did open a ticket.

They said a new update would be available in one or two days which will fix the problem. Still waiting.
