GST paid on expenses on account of business income should be claimed as an Input Tax Credit against GST collected from your customers. So that you remit only the net amount to CRA.

Are you a GST registrant and if so how do you report GST collected and claim input tax credits.

I’m a GST registrant and report it through "my business" page on the CRA website (first year in 2015). I never claimed tax credits so far... That’s what I want to learn how to do.
