Bank Intertest from T5 not working properly

I entered our bank interest split for my wife and I but the detailed summary shows as if we both entered the entire interest.  I then deleted my wife's T5 and increased my interest to the full amount.  Now the detailed suumary shows the same entry for my wife and it shows that my interest has doubled.  How do I correct this?
