Bug Report: CPP Death Benefits put to "17" other income resulting in CRA adding income again to CPP Income. .

What happened.  Input CPP death benefit correctly line 5 Box 18   line11500

Turbo Tax reports it under line 17  line 13000 other income.

File return.

Assessed Death Benefit as not properly recorded - so CRA adds death benefit.

This results in a duplicate reporting of income.

Cannot fix until assessment (not express assessment) is completed by CRA.

Just to be clear, I do not need any assistance.  I waited for the CRA Assessment and filed a correction to "other income".  

 

I did call the number and explained the exact bug in Turbo Tax.  Hopefully it will be fixed.  If the user does not realize it is a bug, they will be over charged by the CRA.
