Business-Use-of-home expenses

Ive been using turbotax for many years, and every year, entering the business-use-of-home expenses does nothing... all it does is carry forward to the next year. I'm tired of beating my head against a wall with this and no-one seems to have this issue. How do I get turbotax to use this information.?

If your business incurs losses your issue may be that business-use-of-home expense is not deductible in the year and will be carried forward to a future year if the business is already in a loss position before considering the home expenses.
