Can I skip entering my spouses info, and complete all mine first?

If you are filing together, and you are transferring information from last year’s tax return, you may have to follow directives based on which tax return you initially started with. If you started doing your return first, it will provide your information first, if you started with your spouse’s information first, it will start with your spouse’s information.

If you are starting a brand new return, then you can start with your information and provide your spouse's afterward.

On the side screen (black section) You will have the option to toggle from your spouse’s to yours by clicking on “My Info” and at the bottom, you will see “Personal Tax Profile” for each of your name’s.
