Canada T2202 Tuition Credit

Canada T2202 Tuition Credit

My grandson would like to transfer the T2202 Tuition Credit to me. 

Turbo Tax requires that I enter him as a dependent. 

If I claim him as a dependent for the T2202 Tuition Credit, 

can his mother claim him as a dependent for family tax deductions?

Yes. Both the mother and grandfather can claim the child as a dependant in TurboTax, if they are claiming different credits for the child.
