Case#:[phone number removed] - Correctly entering info for employment in BC and residence in QC

Hi,

I had employment in BC but reside in QC in 12/31. So for one employer I do not have an QC form R1. How do I correctly enter the data so that the correct information populates my QC Tax Return? And I can then request the transfer of taxes paid by employer to BC to be transferred to QC.

Address which lines to enter on the detailed tax return but do not address how to enter the information in the TurboTax software.

Hello @TCad

Enter a T4 with province as BC for box 10 and skip the entry of RL1. Also, for the tax transfer to your QC return, it will be in the Provincial section - Other QC credits.

Thank you,

Magalie
