Climate action incentive

I am trying to deselect the alberta climate action incentive for my father (claiming through my mother).

Our tax returns are such that I need to file their returns seperately because of the caregiver and disability credits that they have transfered to me. No other way around the system always using it for each other needed or not. It used to have a check box to deselect this if someone else was claiming it but now it is gone. Not sure how to not have the alberta climate incentive go through on my fathers return.

Please note that the climate action incentive is given automatically and if they are married- it will be given to the one whom the CRA will receive their return first. This will not affect the amount owing or refund amount. As per the CRA:

The Government of Canada has changed the climate action incentive from a refundable credit claimed annually on personal income tax and benefit returns to quarterly tax-free payments made through the CRA benefit system starting in July 2022.
