Confused about Business / Corporate numbers and which to use where.

So I have been learning about setting up my business invoices and trying to wrap my head around how I should be using my business / corporate numbers.

I know that I need to list my business/corporate number on my invoices but I am not sure which to use. I have the following unique numbers;

    - Corporation Number (Federally registered)
    - Ontario Corporation Number (OCN)
    - Business number (from the CRA)
    - Business Identification Number (For a registered trade name, other than my Corporation name)

Would anyone care to explain to me which of these numbers need to be added to my invoices and legal documents, especially since I intend to use my registered trade name, which differs from my corporate name.

You may find more help at the QuickBooks community, since that software can actually create invoices. You can find the QuickBooks community here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/ca-quickbooks-community/misc/03/community-ca?setpreftlc=community-ca
