CRA code 84 370, 370, NA, NA

I get the CRA code 370, 370, NA, NA, 'software generated an entry on line 50340, or/or online 50330, but there is no employment income reported. What should I do?

As per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), error code 84 means that the spouse's or common-law partner's name contains at least one invalid character.

 

Error code 370: There is an entry on line 30800 and/or on line 50310 for the base CPP or QPP contributions through employment income but no employment or exempt employment income was reported. -- The taxpayer has T4 slip(s) on records that were not accounted for in the transmission.

 

If you did not have a T4, one must be opened. Can you please confirm if you are using TurboTax Download or Online version?

Hi, I do not have a spouse or common-law partner (I am separated)

I do not have a t4 slip other than for non-taxable scholarships (grants), and I did one freelance job.

I am using TurboTax online and had to pay for the freelancer version.

Did you receive a Tslip from the freelance work you did?
