Doordash

Hello,

I worked for Doordash for about 1 month and a half in 2021 (Mid-October to end of November).

My income didn't even reach CA$700 (CA$687 exactly).

Do I still have to declare it? Knowing that I had other jobs during the 2021 year, which will give me a total income of around CA$10,000 for 2021 (I'm a student).

Thank you for your help, have a good day !

Thank you for your question. Yes, you need to declare your income. As per the Canada Revenue Agency Line 10400 – Other employment income: Employment income not reported on a T4 slip Report on line 10400 of your return tips, gratuities, or occasional earnings you received that are not included on your T4 slips.

To review and confirm the source amounts of your other employment income on line 10400:

  1. Select X in the upper-right corner to close the Help window.
  2. In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find.
  3. In the Find window, type Income not reported on a t-slip.
  4. Select Income not reported on a t-slip from the list, and select Go.
  5. Continue to enter the amount in question.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
