Educator School supply Tax Credit - Warning Message

I am completing my 2022 tax return and entered an amount on line 46900 for the Educator School supply Tax Credit. Reviewing my return for warnings/errors, a warning message below appears. This happened last year and resulted in a processing delay of my tax return until the Summer. Has the government approved this for 2022? If I enter an amount for this in my 2022 tax return, will it be delayed again until approved?

The legislation supporting the Educator School Supply Tax Credit is not yet approved by Parliament. If you claim it now, the CRA will not process your tax return until the legislation is approved. To avoid a delay, file your return without this credit, then ReFILE your return later and receive any amount owed to you from it.

Yes, so you either remove that credit, and complete file your return without it, then once it has been approved by the legislation you can go to your CRA MY Account and do an adjustment of your return to get the credit if approved.
