Error code 180002 (Industry code not accepted)

Am using TurboTax 2021 to file my 2021 return in 2023.  My old industry is not being accepted nor is any code I try.  I read there were are now new codes for 2022 and none of those are working.  Need help.

What is the industry you are in and what code are you trying to use? Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?

I am using Turbo Tax download.  My industry code was 454390.  I did not know it CRA would lock me out after 5 attempts.  I tried my original code a couple of times. I then followed a link I found somewhere on  Turbo tax but I think that was a link to the old codes and that didn't work.   I have tried 418510  which according to NAICS Canada 2022 should work, but that didn't work either.  https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=1369825&CVD=1370274&CPV=41851&CST=27012022&CLV=4&MLV=5  . I am not sure that is correct anyway.  I see someone posted they tried 541860 and that it worked.  I have to call tomorrow morning to see if I can get my account unlocked to attempt to file again.

Have you found a fix for this? How did you get your netfile lock lifted?

@ar97 If your NETFILE account has been locked, you will need to contact the CRA.

If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. If you are elsewhere, you can call 613-940-8495. This page has more ways to contact the CRA: Contact the Canada Revenue Agency

@CJ1000 NAICS codes are refreshed every few years, and for 2022 they deleted many codes. For example, codes like 454110 will no longer work for 2022. Sellers must now choose codes based on what they are selling.

Please visit the NAICS 2022 website to find a new code: https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=1369825
