I have been using TurboTax for NETFILE for years. This year, the online submission was declined because no Chart A of the T936 form was filled out. Supposedly, if there is a capital gain from a T3 slip on Line 17600 of Schedule 3, then an entry on Line 68140 in Chart A of T936 is required. I checked the file and found the software did not generate the numbers on Line 68140. I tried to enter the numbers manually, but the software did not allow me. Is anyone having a similar situation? How can I solve this issue? Thanks.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
I have the same problem and want guarantees that it will be fixed by Intuit so that I can netfile my 2024 return on time.
I paid for TurboTax Premier and I expect value for my money.
Overall I am disappointed with the software and the failure to fix the problem.
Check out this thread with update from Intuit:
TT "So-Called"
Resolved error codes as of April 7, 2025Error issue: There are entries for capital gains on T3 information slips and CRA has indicated that there may be a rounding issue.
Customer action: For all T3 slips in your return: - Remove the amount from Box 52, if applicable (leave it blank) - Enter the sum of Box 52 + Box 53 in Box 53 - Ensure Box 53 equals the amount in Box 21 If the error persists, try rounding the box amounts (21 and 53) to the nearest dollar and submit via NETFILE once more. Try filing after April 7, 2025.
Expected resolution date: Adjustments were made to the production system on April 7, 2025 to address erroneous instances of this error code due to rounding issues.
This error 95365 is not just a rounding issue. It also occurs if you have a capital loss, not just from a T5013 but also from a capital loss entered directly on schedule 3 , such as from a loss on sale of real estate.

I also have this is issue, T936 is not capturing T3 amounts when T5008 reports a capital loss
Ok so today is April 14, and there actually was an update to TT desktop today which I have allowed to install. Well, the box 68140 is still showing zero when I have a capital loss on schedule 3. It continues to not populate with the total of all box 21 in the T3 slips. This means I still cannot netfile my return, and I will get the dreaded 95365 error if I were foolish enough to try. IT IS STILL BROKEN.
Same problem here.
The “fix” did not solve the problem.
Form T936 does not reflect capital gains from T3 slips.
Not sure TurboTax knows how to fix the problem
Thank you for your feedback. As soon as the issue is resolved, we'll update this thread.
Thank you for your patience and choosing TurboTax.
I am having the same issue but with T5008. CRA 5008 download is not being added to Schedule 3 and consequently not picking up capital gains owing.
According to the instructions for line 14 in Chart A section of T936, Box 68140 is supposed to be zero if you have a capital loss and your line 14 is therefore zero. You are not supposed to complete lines 15 to 19 in the Chart A section if you have a capital loss (i.e., line 14 is zero). TurboTax is completing T936 correctly (as are the other tax programs) but NetFile is reporting an error even though it is correct.
I believe we are waiting for CRA to correct NetFile.
This is not a TurboTax issue.

This is not just a CRA issue.
The TT software is not populatiing form T936 in regard capital gains from the T3 slip.
Again this is a TT error and needs to be corrected. Time is running out for clients to be able to net file.
TT was updated April 17, 2025.
I successfully NETFILED my return today.
Before submitting my return I verified that T3 line 17600 was the same as T936 line 68140.
Thanks for the update.
@Rbpoirier This issue has been resolved. Please try again after updating the software. We sincerely thank you for your patience during this period.
