estimated cost to file my taxes

Hi,

I'm new to turbotax. My tax accountant increased his rates substantially, so I'm looking at turbotax as option.

I have two T4s for 2022, I have a T5008 form as well as a trading summary sheet as a result of trading in the US stock market via questrade and I have a secured line of credit which I pay monthly interest.

I'd like to know how much is going to cost me to file taxes with you, also, is it possible to know how much could I get back from CRA before hand?

cheers

The cost would depend on which version of TurboTax you use, and if you are filing with a spouse/common-law partner.

As you have investments, you would need to use Premier or higher if you want to use TurboTax Online. If you want to use TurboTax CD/Download, you can use any version, but we would recommend Premier.

For a simple estimate of what you might get back/owe on your return, you can use our tax estimator here: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax-resources/canada-income-tax-calculator.jsp
