Filing 2021 taxes for deceased parent

My father passed away in February 2021 and I am his executor. His 2020 tax return has been filed (not by me and not using TurboTax) and NOA has been received and all is complete. My understanding is that I can file his 2021 tax return ahead of the usual CRA tax filing schedule. Can I use my my current 2020 version of TurboTax? How would I identify this return as the return for 2021? Any other tips would be appreciated.

No, you cannot use 2020 TurboTax to file a 2021 return.   You will  need to wait until 2021 is available and file the 2021 return.  You will mark the option that you are filing a return for this person who is deceased.
