H works for salary at a co. that paid him extra income as a "contractor" for guiding. Where do I put this xtra income and GST that was charged. he has no bus or gst no.

where do you put extra income not on a t4 that was paid out like a contractor using an invoice and charging GST when you don't have a business number or GST number.  Total income about 5k.  company insisted on paying this way.

To enter your other employment income that is not reported on a slip or form:

Using the online edition of TurboTax:

1. Select Find at the top-right of your screen and type “employment” into the search field.

2. Select Employment Status from the options that appear, and then select Go.

3. On the Employment Status step, select Received tips, gratuities, occasional earnings, or other employment income, and then select Continue.

4. On the Other Employment Income Sources step, enter information about your other employment income.

5. Select Continue.

Using the CD/download edition of TurboTax:

2. Select Other Employment Income from the options that appear, and then select Go.

3. On the Other employment income sources step, enter information about your other employment income.

If your husband was collecting GST from customers, then he would need to register for a GST number and file a GST return. Sales tax is supposed to go to the government, less any GST that he paid on his expenses. This is the CRA page on the GST/HST: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/taxes/gsthst.html
