I accidentally paid for a 2018 tax return when I thought I was filing for 2019. I had just followed the links through an email reminding me to file for this year. I selected the Self Employed program and it took me automatically to the 2018. I thought it was filing for my 2019 so I was really confused when I finished and paid and tried to file but it wouldn't file. Obviously, I've already filed for 2018 so it was rejected. The phones are closed for Canada Day though and I'm worried I won't get a refund. I still intend to file with turbo tax but I would rather not lose $60.
