How do I show that I am completing the return for someone else?

Unless you are a CVITP volunteer or using professional tax preparation software, CRA assumes you have prepared your own return. They don't care whether you did it yourself or had a family member do it. Any issues they have will be with you the taxpayer directly, unless you have paid a tax preparer, and that person has completed a CRA process to allow them to deal with them on your behalf.

Sorry I don't know about on-line; I only use disk version and apparently they are different.

Literally, how do you file a second return on turbotax? I can't  find that option!

If you are using TT on-line, go Tools menu, select Return Manager, then click on Create a New Return.
