For foreign stocks and bonds like US stocks, should it be reported under category 7"
“Property held in an account with a Canadian registered securities dealer or a Canadian trust company' on aggerate basis, so no need to spell out each stock information, Or
category 2. Shares of non-resident corporations (other than foreign affiliates) for each stocks held?
It would depend on how you hold these shares. If you keep them in an account with a Canadian registered securities dealer or a Canadian trust company, then you would put your US stocks under category 7. If not then they would go under category 2.

I hold these shares under a Canadian registered securities dealer, as such, I only need to report based on aggregated amount per location basis, correct?
Can someone please tell me how I can start my own post with my own questions?
