How to submit ReFILE

I can't submit a ReFILE.

 

We're sorry, the Canada Revenue Agency was unable to accept your net file tax return.

 

I get this text and cannot submit the file at all, even after pressing the Try again button.

 

What should I do? Could someone please tell me what to do?

Is that the exact error message that you are getting? What are you trying to change on your return? Have you received your notice of assessment from your original NETFILE submission yet?

Yes, I am getting this error message.

Once when I submitted my tax return online, I forgot to enter my rent expense, so I am now trying to change that part of the form.

I have verified through CRA's My Account that the 2023 return was assessed on April 15, 2024.
