I am trying to continue my 2025 tax return. When I click "Continue" I get a 504 Bad Gateway message.

I am trying to continue my 2025 tax return. When I click "Continue" I get a 504 Bad Gateway message.

A 504 Bad Gateway error when clicking "Continue" typically means the tax website's server is overwhelmed or taking too long to process your return. Try these troubleshooting steps below:

  •  504 errors are usually temporary. Wait 15–30 minutes before trying again.
  • Open a new browser session in Incognito (Chrome/Edge) or Private (Firefox) mode to rule out extension conflicts.
  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  •  Switch from Chrome to Firefox/Edge, or use a mobile app/different computer.
  • If using WiFi, try switching to mobile data temporarily.

If the issue persists, we suggest you contact our support team at https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software. They have access to tools we don't have here in Community, like screenshare, and can investigate this issue for you.
